Game and Nature Reserve

The Blue Mountains are the longest mountain range in Jamaica. They include the island’s highest point, Blue Mountain Peak, at 2256 m (7402 ft). From the summit, accessible via a walking track, both the north and south coasts of the island can be seen.

Castleton Gardens is Located on either side of the Kingston to St. Mary main road, is Castleton Botanical Garden. It was established on the 19th November 1862 as a result of dissatisfaction with the site at Bath, St. Thomas.

Barney’s Flower & Hummingbird Garden Jamaica is an Intimate garden showcasing a wide range of exotic hummingbirds & colorful tropical flora.

Turtle River Falls and Gardens: Lush gardens, waterfalls & exotic wildlife are the draw at this tropical eco-attraction.

Hope Botanical Garden and Zoo was Established in 1873, the 200-acre park includes exotic & native plant collections & a zoo. Address: Old Hope Road, Kingston, Jamaica

Holywell National Recreation Park provides a treat for bird watchers, featuring many varieties of birds, including all 30 of Jamaica’s endemic species. You should also keep an eye on the ground as the park is also home to non-poisonous species of snakes, lizards and frogs.
